Rails 2.3.0 and RouteSet#add_configuration_file
I’ve moved one of our projects over to edge rails after hearing about the new support for multiple routes files. I’ve been wanting this for a long time. It’s pretty easy to setup too:
First, make your custom routes file in config/
config/routes_custom.rb
Next, add an initializer to load that routes file on boot:
config/initializers/load_custom_routes.rb

I forked the textile_editor_helper plugin so that it will work with Rails 2.2.2
I was getting this error:
ActionView::TemplateError (wrong number of arguments (5 for 4))
It was an easy fix really.
Also, tests were bugging out due to the JavascriptHelper module being renamed to JavaScriptHelper. Kind of a pain to track down!

I was unaware that zoviet france ceased creation of music. Rapoon is his new alias and I’m hooked. Dark ambient similar to Robert Rich, Biosphere (Geir Jennsen) and Steve Roach. It’s delectable. Perfect background music with a feeling that leaves you isolated and cold on a desolate plain.
I was about to purchase a bunch of Rapoon’s album on iTunes, but found out that magnatune...

Dad bought a MacBook today. He got a heck of a deal. $899 for an open-box at BestBuy. Spent tonight helping him get aquainted… I hope it works out for him.

Frittata recipe, if you ever forget:
Preheat oven to around 375
Sautee veggies of your choice in a tbsp or 2 of butter (mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, soy crumbles or a meat of your choice)
6 eggs, whisked, beaten and seasoned with salt, garlic pepper and veggie seasoning
1 TON OF CHEESE
1/2 cup of evaporated milk
Mix it all up in a pyrex dish thing and cook for 25 mins.
